Causes of Female Infertility

Damaged or blocked tubes.

Obstruction in the tubes prevents the sperm and egg from uniting, preventing fertilization and pregnancy. Problems in the tubes may occur due to infectious diseases or endometriosis, and adhesions formed in the abdomen as a result of a surgical procedure. The most common cause of clogged tubes is sexually transmitted infections. Irreversible damage can occur in the tubes of people who get tuberculosis microbe at a young age. In women with high damage to the tubes, the probability of getting pregnant is almost impossible. However, the rate of getting pregnant with IVF treatment is quite high.

Ovulation disorders

Ovulation disorders are the most common cause of infertility in women. Ovulation disorder is when ovulation does not occur at all or is irregular and very little. Menstrual irregularity or absence of menstruation in women is an indicator of ovulation disorder. However, a person with regular menstruation may also have an ovulation disorder. Ovulation disorder occurs in three ways.

Polycystic ovary syndrome

Excess of the secretion of milk hormone in the brain stem above the normal level,
Inability to secrete from the brain stem due to the deficiency of the hormones that provide egg production.

Endometriosis

The fact that the tissue that completes the inside of the uterus forms outside the uterus. Endometriosis is sensitive to hormones, just like the tissues that complete the inside of the uterus, and bleeds during menstruation. Bleeding in the abdomen leads to the formation of adhesions and inflammation glands in the future. This also causes cysts. The resulting cysts are called endometriomas. Women who are faced with such diseases need to be treated in order to have children. Endometriosis is found in 25% of women who apply to a doctor to have a child. Endometriosis is a cause of infertility that develops due to oestrogen hormone.

Its incidence and locations

Most often, it forms within the ovaries.

Chocolate cysts are effective in 75% of patients. The places that cause the disease are the cervix, tubes, bladder, vagina. In addition, it can also occur in incisions made during childbirth in women who have had a difficult and sutured birth.

Cause of occurrence

The cause of its occurrence cannot be explained with certainty. It is defined as backflow menstruation. According to this definition, it is the state in which the menstrual blood passes through the tubes into the abdominal cavity and where some tissues settle in the abdominal cavity and preserve their vitality in that region.

Signs and symptoms

The most common problem in people with endometriosis is the extremely painful menstrual period. The cause of excessive pain is cramps and contractions in the uterus caused by the substances secreted in the endometriosis chambers. It can also cause pain and contractions during sexual intercourse. Bleeding disorder is not always seen in endometriosis disease. However, brown spotting may occur before menstruation.

Allergic causes

Although allergic causes are the cause of infertility, its diagnosis and treatment are also very difficult.

Cervical problems2

Structural, infection-related mucus in the cervix or mucus secreted in the region can cause infertility. Polyps and similar tumours and surgical procedures performed in this region can also cause infertility.
